Introducing our all-new YFZ450R High Clearance Pro MX A-Arms!
We’ve completely redesigned our YFZ450R Pro MX A-Arms with updated geometry, increased adjustability, and improved durability while maintaining the same lightweight performance.
What’s New:
Updated Geometry – Our new Pro MX A-Arms feature a revised geometry with a new MX width of +7/8” per side (1-3/4” wider overall than stock). This nets you a true 50" wide machine on 4+1 wheels.
They also offer adjustable forward/rearward placement, allowing you to run -3/8” rearward, centered, or +3/8” forward using the included spacers.
These arms continue to use the same 20” extended-length shocks as our previous DC-Pro A-Arms, although shock valving will need to be changed to match the updated geometry.
New Quick Camber Upper Ball Joint Design – The upper A-Arm features an all-new ball joint boss that still accepts the tried and true FRAP ball joints while providing significantly more adjustment. This means more ccompatibility with a wider range of front-end setups. There is enough adjustment to run stock spindles or LTR spindles without changing the upper arm length.
A key feature of this design is it still allows you to adjust the ball joint without removing it from the spindle.
Completely Redesigned Lower Arms – The lower arms now feature a fully boxed-in shock mount for added strength, along with a high-clearance bend that maximizes ground clearance and helps protect both the shock mount and A-Arms from rocks and ruts.
New Greasable Polyurethane Bushings – We’ve replaced the previous pivot bearings and Delrin bushings with our new greasable polyurethane bushings. These bushings offer exceptionally long service life while adding a small amount of compliance to help absorb impacts and reduce maintenance.
4130 Chromoly Construction – Built from premium American 4130 chromoly steel and fully TIG welded for maximum strength and reliability.
No Added Weight – Despite the stronger design and additional features, these new A-Arms weigh exactly the same as the previous generation.
Shock Compatibility – Designed with plenty of clearance for all aftermarket shocks with a
20” extended-length. A 20" shock will provide a full 11" of wheel travel.
Caster Correction Included – Each kit includes our proven caster corrector bracket and caster spacers for proper front-end alignment.
New Lower Shock Bolt Dust Caps – We’ve also added billet dust caps to the lower shock bolts to help prevent mud and debris from building up inside the mounts.
