This kit replaces all (4) Hubs worth of studs and lugnuts on all Polaris Pro R & Turbo R models. We ran other studs that were available at the time on our race vehicle and found issues with studs made from 17-4 Stainless Steel wanting to seize up in the sandy/dirty conditions of off-roading. Although the 17-4 SS is stronger than OEM, when an impact is used on this material it causes the threads to distort and seize the lugnut. Our studs and lugnuts are made from Chromoly with 175,000 psi rated strength which have been Head Treated and Nitride Coated to prevent breakdown from corrosion. These studs have been tested through multiple desert races and without failure or any issues with cross threading/seizing like other options on the market. Our studs also include a rounded bullnose design for speed and ease of starting the lugnut on the stud when doing a tire change. We retained the M12x1.5 thread pitch that is the same as the OEM thread pitch. The lugnuts are heavy duty and lengthened to protect the stud's threads from rocks/damage on the trail or course.
